Hello, guys, name's Smithy. Well, the name's Jethro Smythe-Smith -
please don't ask about my parents - but Smithy is so much more
dignified.

I was wondering if some of you could help me out. While I'm a greedy,
clever son-of-a-bitch of an entrepeneur, I'm not very good at figuring
out codes and messages. I'd ask my close friends to help me out, but,
to be honest, I don't have any. It's not because of my personality -
I'm just in and out of a lot of cities, looking for the ocassional odd
job, and I usually don't like to stay in any one town for a long
period of time. My closest friend is my laptop, portable scanner and
ISP account.

Anyway, it's a lot faster to tell you what's going on here at my
Flickr account.

Thanks in advance,

Smithy

That does look a lot like a rabbit hole. Who wants to follow ?

I'm excited by the word "Miskatonic" in this letter:

Could it be we have a Mythos-based ARG on the go? *chews fingers* More info:

Update: Got a solve on the numbers, which I think is all we need for now. Some people are still pondering it though, so will refrain from posting, or from mailing the guy, for a little while.

Update: Have posted a hint, method and solution over at the new unforum thread for this. Where's the best place to discuss it from here on though?

Have also mailed the guy to let him know.
