Links for the forums, hints, warmup, permalinks are now automatically redirected from perplexcity.com to welovepuzzles.com Please note that pages on the site are cached. Please wait at least an hour for items to appear before reporting it as a bug. We moved servers yesterday, hence the downtime, so now the site should be noticeably faster. [eta] The problem with solving cards is now fixed.

Mind Candy Needs You! (to test the Season 2 ARG)

Do you live in London? Are you familiar with our ARG and web games and applications? Are you good at expressing complex problems in writing and speech? If so, we want your help. We need volunteer testers who can come to our studio in Battersea during the week of 7th May, and possibly also 14th May, to help test the first episode of Perplex City Season 2. We’ll provide refreshments and reimburse travel costs within London. You will receive a credit on the episode, and gain invaluable experience into the development process of ARGs. It will be demanding, and will involve repetitive and destructive testing, and writing bug reports. Testers will be required to sign an NDA if taking part. You will preferably be able to come during daytime, although late afternoon/early evening may be possible. You will need to come in for at least three of the five weekdays. If you’re interested, please email recruitment@mindcandydesign.com with the subject “Tester”. Include a CV and a brief covering email/letter. We will only email you if you are accepted.

The Daily Puzzle should display and start awarding points at 12am GMT (1am BST), as expected. [eta] Please also note that due to the time it takes we cannot verify points for individual users.

You can answer a puzzle as many times as you like. If you solve a daily puzzle previously, and then solve it between 12:00:00 GMT and 23:59:59 GMT on the daily puzzle day you will receive the points for it.

Season 2 Rank is back. But you can only see your ranks (s1 and s2) if you have more than 1000 points (please see the FAQs for more information). [eta] and now it caches properly. You can now see your colour level on your profile. Your friends list now displays Points instead of Last Visited.
