I've just received my limited edition (0069/1000) poster of the map of Perplex City, from Firebox.
I've got to say I'm very impressed. It is huge. The lady at the post office thought it was a piece of drain pipe. I hurried it home, to find it is a lovely print of the whole map (without the variations in colour you find in montages of S1 card backs), and is signed by Michael Smith and Adrian Hon. It is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, oooh. I know it is a bit expensive, but if you have been collecting PXC stuff for some time, it is a must. I am also pleased because it is something that I had asked for ages ago on suggestions thread. Thanks Mind Candy, ATB Sloth007 |

*goes and checks Firebox* How come I've never heard of this! I might just have to order it, the words 'limited edition' do that to me, even if I'm unlikely to ever put the poster up

Seriously, I don't know for sure. I'd guess at about 5 and a half feet squared or there abouts, but again no guarantees. I've only had it out of the tube once to look at it, and, suprisingly, it wasn't to measure it

Mine arrived yesterday. The postman left it resting against the front door, so it literally fell into the hallway as I was leaving for work! "Piece of drainpipe" is an accurate description...
For the record, mine is #063. I haven't measured it accurately, but I think it's about 47" square. |
