Hey - just got in. It's crazy here - thooooouusands of people and insane noise, and the bands haven't even started yet. Found myself a nice wi-fi point, so I'll be uploading vids as much as I can. Here's taster:
More to come.
Took some quick photos too - they're on the Flickr feed here.
I've seen one or two symbols around - and you've been texting in with sightings too. When you text in, make sure you get the WORD, NUMBER, COLOUR, SHAPE and STYLE OF SHADING (solid, empty, half-filled...). Pics are simplest!
Already getting loads of photos now - and finding tons of people who are on the case. Quick vid clips (and name-checks) of some of them here:
The music has started - Jamie T is shaking the stage as I write this - and we've already got quite a few of those symbols in. Let me know how you're doing on grouping them together.
So, big thanks to everyone who's texted and emailed and camera-phoned in - keep going! Must be more to find out there.
Right - thank you EVERYONE for your work today - we've got the map and I'm pretty sure we've triangulated the eventual locations of the transmitters. But they're not there. I've been round and checked the places on the ground - there's just nothing odd there.
All I can think is that we've found where the transmitters need to be at some key point. And I expect that's tomorrow. Violet has some ideas about what that time (or those times) will be, so I'll try to get more details from here.
So - looks like we're at a dead end for today. We're half-way there. Tomorrow, we'll try and get those transmitters at the right time and nail Cyrus. Fingers crossed. Enjoy the music. Sleep well.
Phew! I just want say congrats to everyone who was involved both on the ground and online yesterday. I was set upon by friends at the worst possible time so unfortunately couldn't be involved
Day two. We have about eight hours to track down the transmitters. We know where they'll be - just not when. Violet reckons she'll be able to tell us the moment each one goes into position, so we're depnding on her - and then she's relying on us to take those devices out.
I'll Twitter any info as I get it. Keep an eye on your phones if you're here on the ground.
And some more.
Get ready
Violet has worked out a way of telling when each transmitter goes into position - then we have to get to it quick. And cut the red wire. And do that four times, before the end of the day. Sounds easy. We'll see how it works in practice.
