Hi everyone,
We'll be placing a list of bugs we know about - but haven't fixed yet - in the post and keeping it regularly updated. Before emailing us or reporting a bug please make sure you have tried clearing your cache and cookies, and making sure you have the latest version (or service pack) of your browser, operating system and flash. Please include details of your browser and operating sytem in any bug reports to help us track them. Make sure you also provide your username, and which pages the errors occured on. Thank you. We know... Slamboozle and other Flash game highscores are not showing up with your username. The Slamboozle countdown starts before images are loaded, especially if you have a slow connection. Puzzle creator for each puzzle is not displayed unless you have entered first name / last name in your profile. Points for set solves that were missed out on were not retroactively awarded. We'll sort them out soon. Also, some Season 1 cards have not been awarding points, we will make sure you have them soon. If you click Next after solving a puzzle there is a chance you will get a deleted one, which you cannot solve. Comments on puzzle sometimes eat characters, such as '?'. User Created Puzzles cannot be edited/ deleted as yet (but if you email help@perplexcity.com we may be able to fix it manually in some cases). Some puzzles give a parsing or javascript error, but this is not consistent. This may mean that your browser cannot cope with the AJAX. Stuff that is a Bug with the Forum code Ranks cannot be set for specific people, show everyone is a "Lover of Puzzles". PMs were always showing as 0, so until we know why - there's just a link to your inbox. When the last page of a multipage post only contains one post, that post is duplicated on the last and 2nd-to-last page, so the "go to last post" link is to the 2nd-to-last page, but the correct post. Sometimes messages you've already read are showing up as unread. Fixing imminent... Definitely fixed, sorry for the inconvenience. (...) |
