The Social's the place for everyone to shoot the breeze, talk about your favourite puzzles and catch up with your friends around the world. As with the other forums on this site, we'll be keeping a close eye - make friends, and play nice!
Guidelines We aren't grammar fascists, but DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS or tlk lyk yr u5ing a mbbl f0n3. Using plain English helps everyone understand you, we promise! Try not to completely derail a discussion if people still want to discuss the original matter at hand. If you've somehow swung from su doku strategies to salami slicing scythes, it might be best to start a new thread to discuss your new topic. Be nice to each other. Civil, passionate debate is encouraged, but flaming and personal attacks don't have a place here on Perplex City - we have a heart in our logo for a reason, you know. If you and another puzzler are taking over a thread with your bickering, we recommend your private message each other instead... although we'd suggest stepping away from the keyboard and chilling out is an even better option. If you feel like someone's giving you a hard time or acting rudely in general, you can send us a private message and we'll take action to conclude the matter. Again, we don't mean to get all rule-y, but we think it's better to be upfront with the ground rules so everyone's on the same page. And now, unto the breach! |
