I realise that this should be insanely simple and i'm probably missing something, but this card's wording is ambiguous and I just can't get the answer. There are soooooo many possible arrangements for what it says and I just don't get it!

Think a bit more logically (hints follow)

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

At first, we know there are 2 rabbits right? Draw them on a piece of paper, and assume that they're right next to each other. Now what does the card ask to do? "There are two rabbits [which we've drawn] in front of two other rabbits." Put these behind. Continue on like this.

Sorry if this sounds patronising, but I can't think of any other way to do it! If you want a little more advice (or even the answer), feel free to give me a P.M.

Tiny hint:

Think "smallest possible number."

I've already tried this and these are the combinations which I came up with but didn't work:

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

* *
* * * *
and
* *
* * * (on the bottom row there are two rabbits in total next to to other rabbits). And even:
* *
* *
----* * * But they all refused to work. I even tried
(don't know why it would work, but it's worth a try.)
* *
* * * *
----* *

You've still got too many there.

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

Minus one from one of your 'solutions' and you'll be on the right track

Try this:

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

Think about each step seperately:
Step 1: Draw 2 rabbits infornt of 2 other rabbits in the closest way possible.
Step 2: Then think about 2 behind 2
Step 3: Think about 2 next to 2
Combine them. See what you get.

However, the question is phrased badly.

Needs: Hamleys Cards and a few silvers. Have all S2 Red-Purple cards and most Blacks to trade.

I do agree the question is worded oddly, if only because it should ask the fewest number of rabbits that can satisfy these conditions.
